The facility Administrator is responsible for directing the overall operation of the facility in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, the Administrator will direct and ensure the implementation of corporate initiatives that reflect the goals of the company. The Administrator is also responsible for driving the recruitment and selection process for key staff positions and ensuring a productive work environment that drives resident and community satisfaction. Assures the implementation of therapeutic, recreational, and rehabilitative programs to meet the social and activity needs of residents. * Assures that the nutritional needs of residents are met. Requirements: * License from the applicable state agency. * Knowledge of Nursing Home regulations and standards and ability to manage all aspects of state and federal survey process. * Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. * Excellent grasp of principles of budgeting, expense control, and revenue enhancement through marketing, special care programs and management of ancillary services. * Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below. * Genuine care and interest in elderly and handicapped people. * Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities. * Ability to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and procedures.
