Job Summary:Set-up, change over and maintain molding machines, molds, material, and their processes to produce quality products for internal and external customers in a safe and productive manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Bring molds from Tooling following the schedule
• Set molds in press
• Cycle molds to set up guidelines
• Complete Setup paperwork as directed by Supervisor (i.e. Cycle, Sequence, and Guidelines)
• Conduct troubleshoots cycles working together with quality control
• Return molds to Tooling
• Clean molds
• Check counts on running molds
• Do the tests for humidity in materials as scheduled
• Check the materials being ground as needed
• Follow instructions to prevent contamination of materials
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of injection molding experience.
• 3+ years of experience with operating injection molding equipment.
• Ability to set up and operate assigned equipment.
• Ability to perform various operations under minimum supervision, while maintaining required levels of quality and quantity.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet, for up to 12 hours per day.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Able to tolerate high and low-temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
