Salary: $27/hr

Seeking Part-time Commercial Security Agent / Security Guard (unarmed) to staff the security team protecting a large commercial site.

This part-time position is not eligible to participate in the employee benefits program. This in person position is not eligible to work remotely.

Duties:

• Perform walking rounds of the client's property; observe ongoing activities and maintain a security presence;
• Monitor CCTV for internal and external activity;
• Control access and monitor entrance/exit;
• Politely challenge anyone requesting access to the building, confirm they are authorized, and direct them to the correct location;
• Communicate security violations or other threats to physical security (fire, disorder, any emergency);
• Serve as first point of contact in emergency situations;
• Serve as liaison to law enforcement, fire agency personnel, or emergency medical personnel from federal, state, or local agencies;
• Prepare reports of all incidents involving criminal and security violations;

License/Certification

• Valid Identification;
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States;
• Guard card;
• Veteran Preferred (military/1st responder).

Work Location

• Oakland; must be able to arrive at the designated work location in time to start ones shift (Required)

Experience level:

• 1-3 years

Job status: Part-time

Hourly Pay: $27.00 with valid guard card

Schedule is varied based on business needs; shifts are primarily six (6) or eight (8) hours

• Evening/night/graveyard shifts
  
• Weekends days and nights
