JOB SUMMARY

Polar is looking to hire a Wire Harness Assembler to work at our manufacturing facility in Gardena, CA . The candidate must be accurate in the assembly of parts, work at a reasonable pace, function well as a team member, and enjoy work.

Responsibilities include: the ability to read electrical diagrams, follow written instructions, assemble connectors, crimp wires using hand tools and crimping machines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assemble connectors.

· Cable and harness assembly to create neat and efficient cable routing for various products.

· Observes all safety rules and maintains a clean, organized work area.

· Crimping inspection proficiency

· Operate crimping machines, wire cutting and stripping machines.

· Assemble cable harnesses from point-to-point wiring diagrams and drawings.

· Ability to perform simple harness tests.

 

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum of 2 years’ electronics assembly experience required

· Proficient in English.

· Effective interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to work overtime and on weekends if needed

· Ability to lift 20 lbs., and be physically fit to perform work duties
