About Casino Mine Ranch

Casino Mine Ranch is a boutique winery located in Amador County’s Shenandoah Valley. Our limited-production, luxury wines are primarily allocated to direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, with select strategic placements for marketing purposes. We are solely focused on the DTC channel, emphasizing our core values of family, stewardship, independence & quality. 

Position Summary

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing initiatives that drive brand growth and market share expansion for Casino Mine Ranch within key target segments. This role requires a results-oriented individual with a proven track record of developing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing sales channels, and building strong customer relationships within the luxury wine industry. The Manager will play a key role in cultivating strategic partnerships, optimizing direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, and enhancing brand visibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Implement the sales strategy developed in collaboration with leadership, focusing on achieving assigned revenue targets and expanding market reach.
  • Manage key account relationships with high-end hotels, restaurants, retailers, and distributors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and targeted outreach.
  • Oversee and optimize DTC sales channels, including e-commerce, wine club, tasting room, and events, maximizing revenue generation and customer engagement.
  • Manage the CRM system (Commerce7) to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales data to inform tactical decisions.

Marketing & Brand Management:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including content marketing, social media, email marketing, public relations, and advertising, in alignment with the overall marketing plan.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of brand-building initiatives that reinforce Casino Mine Ranch's luxury positioning and resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative resources to develop compelling marketing materials and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Manage the brand's online presence, including website, social media platforms, and online reputation.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events, including wine releases, tastings, and customer appreciation events.

Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement.
  • Prepare regular reports on performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities and challenges.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including winemaking and operations to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles within the luxury wine or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury consumer market and the wine industry.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Commerce7 preferred) and marketing analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Represent Casino Mine Ranch at industry events and conferences.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $72,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be based on the successful candidate's experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors
