Company Overview :Our client, a rapidly growing company in the furniture industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join their team in New York City.

Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure the quality and efficiency of furniture production, overseeing a couple of associates. This role involves quality inspections, coordinating with production partners, maintaining product specifications, and product development. The position is based in NYC, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays, including travel across the US approximately once a month.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly visits to production partners to review products ready for shipment.
  • Perform quality audits and inspections.
  • Document and maintain product specifications.
  • Implement production changes and adjustments.
  • Support the product development team with sample measurements.
  • Address urgent quality issues as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the NC hire and the HQ associate.
  • Drive product development initiatives and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in upholstery and casegoods, quality assurance, and product development.
  • Experience in furniture manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving with a proactive approach.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Design) within the last 10-15 years.

Location :New York City (in-office Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays)
