ABOUT THE POSITION & ITS IMPACT

The Information Technology (IT) Director is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure for the organization. This role oversees technical projects in alignment with the organization's goals, delivers effective process and systems to ensure we are operating in a best-in-class manner. This role is hands-on and heavily involved in sustaining our operations daily. Candidates should possess a "get it done" attitude, move with speed, be highly curious and think outside of the traditional box to solve problems quickly. Onsite must operate with "zero downtime" given our collective clinical and medical responsibilities and this role protects the organizations' delivery of important transformational experiences.


ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE:
  • Lead the organization's IT delivery soup-to-nuts, thinking about how to leverage limited resources for the greatest impact for our clients, team and partners
  • Work with company stakeholders to identify business and technology needs and how we can optimize technology to make outcomes more efficient
  • Oversee a small team while working with management, external vendors, advisors on the effective implementation of IT solutions
  • Perform daily system-wide monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, resources, systems, key processes, applications, backups and more
  • Work with Systems Integration and other stakeholders to maintain the strictest of confidentiality standards using HIPPA regulations as an operational "minimum" and raising the bar for safety and security measures

Requirements

IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:

We are open to candidates of all backgrounds, experience and education levels. After all, years of experience is just a number. That said, we believe that candidates with the following backgrounds will be well-suited to succeed in this role:
  • High school education and college level training preferred
  • Roughly 10 years of progressive experience with experience leading IT systems for a 150+-system organization
  • Candidates must possess the ability to maintain the strictest of confidences at all times
