Position Overview: The HVAC Manager will oversee and manage HVAC operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, compliance with industry standards, and customer satisfaction. The Manager will be responsible for leading a team of HVAC technicians, coordinating workflow, and implementing best practices to optimize performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership and Management :
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of HVAC technicians.
- Coordinate scheduling, training, and development activities for the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Operational Oversight :
- Manage HVAC projects and service contracts within the assigned zone.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their HVAC needs and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Technical Expertise :
- Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC technicians.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC systems and equipment issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Financial Management :
- Manage budgets, expenses, and resources effectively.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Prepare and present reports on HVAC operations, performance metrics, and KPIs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC/R Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC operations and management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Technical proficiency in HVAC systems, equipment, and controls.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Valid HVAC technician certification and licenses preferred.
