Grounds and Property Care Technician

Position Overview

The Grounds and Property Care Technician ensures the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our residential communities, creating a welcoming and pristine environment for residents and guests. This role involves daily cleaning, light maintenance, and assisting with property care, including both indoor and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Cleanliness & Safety
  • Maintain a clean, odor-free, and safe environment.
  • Conduct daily cleaning and upkeep of all common areas and grounds.
  • Respond to inclement weather needs, including snow removal when required.
• Property Maintenance & Upkeep
  • Assist in turnover and refurbishment of units to ensure a ready and appealing condition.
  • Perform exterior power washing as needed to enhance building appearance.
  • Report any safety, maintenance, or housekeeping issues promptly.
  • Pool Cleaning & Maintenance
• Equipment & Supply Management
  • Efficiently use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Learn and apply basic maintenance practices to support property care.
• Communication & Support
  • Collaborate with team members and attend all required training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff, providing a high level of customer service.

Requirements

• Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Skills
  • Strong work ethic, good verbal communication, and ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work independently with attention to detail.
• Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Must bend, reach, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
• Travel
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• Screening
  • Must pass a Background Screening to include a Credit Check
