What will you do in this job?:Maintain carts, clubs, and other equipment Register golfers, collect payment, supply rental equipment, etc. Displays, promotes, and sells merchandise in golf shop Makes frequent rounds of course as assigned to set & remove pins, remove trash, and note condition of course Assists with organization of group outings, tournaments, etc Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties This job description describes at a high level what a Golf Shop Host does, but no document can anticipate every single task, issue or project that could come up.
