Job Title: Fraud Investigator 

Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85007

Duration: 6-Months Contract 

Pay Rate: $25 to $28 an hour on W2

Job Description :

Position Overview:

The Senior Investigator conducts investigations into allegations of fraud, abuse, and misconduct related to DES programs and services. This role involves administrative and criminal investigations in collaboration with federal, state, and local law enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate allegations of fraud, abuse, and misconduct involving clients, employees, contractors, vendors, and providers.
• Research policies, procedures, investigative resources, and public records to gather evidence.
• Conduct field investigations, interviews, surveillance, and serve subpoenas.
• Maintain accurate investigation records and ensure proper chain of evidence.
• Prepare and present clear, concise investigative reports, including prosecution reports and memorandums.
• Testify at administrative hearings and legal proceedings, including Grand Jury hearings.
• Collaborate with legal teams, prosecutors, and law enforcement agencies.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and assist other investigators as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in crime analysis, intelligence gathering, and fraud investigations.
• Knowledge of investigative procedures, evidence handling, and public assistance eligibility policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data analysis software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills.
• Ability to produce detailed reports, charts, and visual aids for case presentations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with law enforcement and legal entities.
