Job Description

Class A Drivers with at least 6 months experience with Hazmat endorsement are being requested to apply. Drivers will be running OH, IN, IL. This is a home weekly position running a dedicated account.

Job Details

• Running lane is OH, IN, IL. Typical run is Dayton, OH, Fort Wayne, IN, Elkhart, IN, Chicago, IL.
• Combo of drop and hook and driver assist. Driver will assist moving freight to tail of trailer if required (up to 50 pounds)
• Weekly home time with at least a 34-hour reset (weekend work most likely)
• Generally, 0500-0900 start times
• Great equipment. 2022 or newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia's. All automatic.
• 2-day paid orientation in Atlanta, GA (travel and private hotel room paid for)
• Drivers must be willing to drive during the day or during the night as account is a 24/7 operation.
• Miles a week is 2190-2600

Pay/Benefits

• .55 a mile. $1495 average weekly pay. $76,250 K yearly average
• $66 a day per diem
• $500 orientation pay (paid on 2 nd check)
• Accessorial pay - $14 stop pay, $10 tailgate pay. $17 per hour delay pay after 1 st hour.
• Full benefits that kick in after 60 days including medical, dental, 401K and PTO.

Requirements

• Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months recent OTR/Regional experience.
• Must have a fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years.
• Must have Hazmat Endorsement
• Must live within 75 miles of Dayton, OH.
• Cannot have been terminated from any driving job in the last 3 years due to safety concerns.
• No DUI's in the last 5 years. No more than 1 DUI in lifetime
• No more than 2 misdemeanors in the last 7 years or 3 in a lifetime
• No felonies in the last 7 years
• No more than 10 jobs in the last 10 years. No more than 5 jobs in the last year.
• No more than 18 months unemployment in the last 3 years
• Must be able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen.
