Job Description

The Catering Service Worker Lead is responsible for supervision and support in planning catering events of varying sizes and levels in both central and satellite locations. Ensures that all catering brand standards and initiatives are consistently achieved.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists in supporting organization framework for attendants and pantry members.
• Communicate with management and team to ensure overall success.
• Works with technology to communicate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Works with technology to plan logistics.
• Works with the culinary team to communicate vessels, timing, and updates communicated from leadership or clients.
• Executes paperwork and assignments for team members as communicated by Operations leadership.
• Assists in the organization of inventory processes.
• Assists in the organization of beer, wine, and liquor processes and inventory.
• Plans logistics for daily and weekly orders/events.
• Works with attendants and pantry team to plan, deliver, and execute.
• Oversees the execution of banquets, seated dinners, receptions, and off-site parties.
• Follows SOPs and company standards to ensure consistent deliverables across campus.
• Ensures signage is complete, matches buffet contains the proper dietary and allergen requirements as set forth by leadership.
• Acts as client liaison during events from start to finish.
• Assists team members in setup, pulls, event execution, and client relations.
• Assists in clean-ups and ensuring all spaces are left before departure each day.
• Sets team up for next day successful through organizational business practices.
• Follows Banquet Event Orders.
• Assists in delivering products and/or events to off-premise via work vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work long shifts (up to 12 hours)
• Must be able to work PM (sometimes 9PM-12PM)
• Must be detail-oriented
• Experience working and delegating to a larger team
• Experience working in banquets, catering or similar settling a must
• Good Time Management
• Ability to Multi-Task in a high paced environment
• Bilingual a plus
• Bar Experience preferred - TIPS or Servsafe Alcohol trained a plus

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
